Tasty Reads Book Club – August Meeting

Cicada Books and Coffee’s Tasty Reads Book Club’s next meeting will be held on Monday, August 2, at 6:30 p.m.
We will be discussing the James Beard Award winner ‘Victuals: An Appalachian Journey, with Recipes’ by Ronni Lundy. Copies of the book are available at bookshop.org/shop/cicada or the Cabell County Public Library. We will also save some time to chat about the July book selection ‘Quentins’ by Maeve Binchy. Individual small bites and complimentary coffee/water will be provided by Cicada Books staff. Chef Jedediah Thornburg from The Wild Ramp will speak briefly at the start of the meeting.
The Wild Ramp will also be making Tasty Eats freezer meals featuring variations of the following recipes made with seasonal ingredients:
– Karl Worley’s Roasted Chicken and Dumplings
– Real Cornbread
– Succotash
