Tasty Reads: Feast of the Seven Fishes

Tasty Reads is closing out 2025 with our November meeting where we’ll be sharing an Italian-inspired sampling menu, including dishes made by Nick Atkins, chef at the Wild Ramp.
Feast of the Seven Fishes: A Brooklyn Italian’s Recipes Celebrating Food and Family by Daniel Paterna is a love-letter to the author’s family recipes and the Brooklyn grocers, butchers, and shops that supplied authentic Italian food. The recipes in the book are based around holiday meals.
We’d like to extend an invitation to join us to all our book club members (including Banned Together, Based on a Book, and Shelf Improvement members). Come and sample some traditional Italian dishes (and make your own to bring, if you like). If you’ve been meaning to join, or rejoin, this is a great night to be there.
Tasty Reads will be reviewing and discussing a slate of interesting titles for 2026.
