The Second Annual Canine Carnival

The Huntington Stormwater Utility and Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District are hosting the second annual Canine Carnival at the Ritter Park Fountain from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.

The event will include Yoga with Dogs led by Eva Ball, a canine costume contest will follow at noon and a demonstration from the Huntington Police Department’s K9 Unit. There will also be prizes for the funniest and the scariest dog costume.

There will be plenty to do between events. You can get your picture taken with Marshall University’s Marco. There will be a dog obstacle course. Help for Animals will be doing Microchipping for $20. Food vendors will be selling lunch and sweet snacks.
