Tree Grafting Workshop

Join the Milton Public Library for a free tree grafting workshop on Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Participants in this workshop will learn how to propagate fruit and nut trees through hands-on grafting techniques. Grafting is a horticultural technique in which plant tissues are joined in order to continue their growth together.
Topics will include:
• How grafting will benefit the health and productivity of fruit and nut trees;
• When to graft;
• The selection of rootstock; and
• Choosing and using the right tools for the job.
