Veteran's Day Parade

The Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District (GHPRD) and the Veterans Committee for Civic Improvement (VCCI) will host a Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony on Saturday, November 11, 2017, to honor those that have served in the United States Armed Services.
The Parade line-up will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the gazebo at 14^th Street West, with the Parade starting at 10:00 a.m. and proceeding to Veterans Memorial Arch where the Veterans Day Ceremony will kick off at 11:00 a.m.
United States Congressman Evan Jenkins will be on hand to give remarks and has invited United States Army General Anthony Funkhouser to be the Guest Speaker at the Ceremony.
In addition to remarks from U.S. Congressman Jenkins and Major General Funkhouser, the Veterans Day Ceremony will include special announcements and awards from local organizations.  Please make plans to attend this special event to honor the sacrifices of our U.S. Military Veterans and to remind them of the exceptional role they play in our community and our daily lives.
