We Are Here, We Will Be Seen Reception

We Are Here, We Will Be Seen is an exhibition hosted by Marshall University’s School of Art and Design in collaboration with Rise and Repaint.
Rise and Repaint is a global collective amplifying the voices of women and non-binary artists. With a global community of over 100,000 people, with 2,000+ women artists connected through the Where Are The Women Artists directory and their Inner Circle membership platform. This work now extends beyond digital resources into physical exhibitions that expand visibility and equity in the arts.
Join us on February 5 for an evening at the Birke Art Gallery. Meet fellow art lovers, connect with the community, and experience powerful works firsthand. The reception runs from 6:00–7:30 PM and is completely free to attend.
The exhibition will be on view January 12 to February 20. The galleries are free and open to all. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm.
