Writers Can Read – Open Mic Night

June 19, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Each month Writers Can Read brings together authors, aspiring authors, and those who just enjoy reading to share their works. Featured readers this month are Amanda Hooser and Tobi Doyle. This event is free and open to the public!

A.B. Hooser lives in Huntington with her husband, kids, and two dogs. Writer, artist, and gamer, she lets the ADHD lead her into every new adventure. “A Shade of Winter,” her first foray into the YA Mystery genre, will be available in June 2023. Set in 1995, this novel, the first of a four-part series published by The Henlo Press, combines Nancy Drew detective elements with the television show, Ghost Hunters for a fun adventure that will appeal to a wide age range.

Tobi Doyle has over a dozen published romance books. She writes HEAs with heat and humor, romantic suspense, and cozy mysteries. She’s Romance Writers of America’s 2022 PRO Mentor of the Year as well as the past President of RWA’s Kiss of Death Chapter. She works with Sheila Redling giving writing craft and creativity workshops as AskIGW.com.
