Tyson Compton – President – [email protected]
Tyson has served as President of the Cabell-Huntington Convention and Visitors Bureau since February 2009. Tyson came to Huntington from the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Kentucky where he was marketing director for fourteen years. Prior to that he lived in Los Angeles where he was Marketing Director for a magazine publishing group.
A freelance writer for twenty years, he was also editor of Where-Los Angeles, an LA travel guide. Also while in Los Angeles, Tyson sold a motion picture screenplay and wrote an episode each for the television series “Murphy Brown” and “Just Shoot Me.” In the late 90s, Tyson hosted a cable series that took a look at the entertainment world behind the scenes.
Born and raised in Louisa, Kentucky, Tyson has fond memories of visiting here in his youth, and loves the opportunity to promote this exceptional city.
Aaron Arnold – Office Manager – [email protected]
Aaron joined the Cabell-Huntington Convention and Visitors Bureau team in September of 2012. Aaron is a native of Grayson, KY but has lived in Huntington since 2005, when he married his wife Courtney. He came to the CVB from the Hampton Inn-Downtown in Charleston, where he served as Asst. General Manager. He is a former Board Member at Large with Huntington’s South Side Neighborhood Organization and continues to volunteer and support this group as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Tri-State, West Virginia Special Olympics, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the Huntington Museum of Art Open Door Membership Campaign, Habitat for Humanity, and several other local organizations.
In 2003, Aaron graduated from Morehead State University with a degree in Journalism. He and his wife have two sons and a daughter – Brooks, Lewis, and Blair.
Anna Adkins – Sales Manager – [email protected]
A native of Ceredo-Kenova, WV, Anna Adkins is deeply connected to the region and has lived or worked around Huntington, WV, her whole life. She attended Marshall University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. As an undergraduate, she was a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, We Are…Changing The World, and served as the campus representative for TOMS Shoes. Prior to joining the Cabell Huntington Convention & Visitors Bureau, Anna worked with the public for 7 years in the retail industry – both as employee and manager. Anna also worked at River Cities Gymnastics and Cheerleading Center as an instructor and coach for 2 years where she helped lead several teams to multiple national titles.
An avid animal lover, Anna volunteers with One by One Animal Advocates and has two beautiful dogs, a Great Pyrenees and a Jack Russell/Dachshund mix.
Angelo Fioravante – Visitors Center Manager – [email protected]
Angelo was raised on a small farm in Lincoln County. At the impetus of some excellent teachers, he moved to Huntington and enrolled at Marshall University for the fall semester of 2007. There Angelo earned his B.A. in Political Science with a focus on public administration in May of 2012. Before joining the Cabell-Huntington Convention & Visitors Bureau in August of 2014, Angelo worked front of house at the River and Rail Bakery just next door, and St. John’s Childhood Community and Development center “feeding his kids.”
He writes fiction in his spare time and visits his Dad in Lincoln County every Sunday.
Raine Klover – Manager, The Red Caboose – [email protected]@visithuntingtonwv.org
Raine is a West Virginian by choice who moved to Huntington, WV in 2010. Formerly an itinerant artist, she has put down deep roots in the red clay along the banks of the Ohio River. Her artistic mediums of choice are photography and encaustic painting. She has volunteered for many local organizations including The Wild Ramp, Fairness West Virginia, Cridlin Food Pantry, and Tri-State AIDS Task Force. She earned her bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University and master’s degree in Public Administration from Marshall University. Prior to joining the Cabell Huntington Convention & Visitors Bureau, Raine worked as a graphic designer and co-owned an award-winning art gallery in Albuquerque, NM.
She and her husband, Chris, are raising two wild and wonderful West Virginians, Katie and William, and enjoy living in the South Side neighborhood of Huntington.
Sheila Redling – The Red Caboose
Reckless writer prone to mad, violent dashes through reality.
Sheila Redling is the author of more than a half dozen novels, including the best-selling thrillers, FLOWERTOWN and THE WIDOW FILE. A former morning radio host and avid traveler, Sheila is also a language geek, wine enthusiast, and a so-so gardener. She currently lives in her home state of West Virginia with a wide array of wildlife.
