An Evening of Song and String

In their return after the success of Mozart’s Requiem, the HSO Chorus will present their spring program, An Evening of Song and String, with members of the Huntington Symphony string sections. So many beautiful selections of choral music feature stunning solo and string quartet sections within the works which we will feature. This concert has been chosen to highlight the partnership where we “…awake the voice, awake the string.” Work will include Handel, Whitacre’s Five Hebrew Love Songs, Brahms, Copland, and other standards of the Choral Canon. We hope to see you there with us whereas a chorus, we “keep the community singing.”
