Annual Marshall Memorial Fountain Ceremony

In the middle of Huntington,
West Virginia, there is a river.
Next to that river, there is a steel mill.
And next to the steel mill, there is a school.
In the middle of this school, there is a fountain.
Each year, on the exact same day,
at the exact same hour
the water to this fountain is turned off.
And in this moment, once every year
time stands still. 

Join us for our 51st Annual Memorial Fountain Ceremony on the Memorial Student Center Plaza.

Please note: This year, the ceremony will begin at 2pm, because November 14th falls on a Sunday.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required in all university buildings and are strongly encouraged even outside at this event. For those who choose not to attend in person, the event will be available via livestream by clicking on https://livestream.com/marshallu.
