Author Event with Neema Avashia

We are so thrilled to be hosting Neema Avashia, author of Another Appalachia. This event is part of a month long celebration put on by Huntington Pride.
Neema has lived in Boston since 2003, but when anyone asks her where she’s from she says ‘West Virginia’. Her memoir is about her childhood where she grew up in a tight knit Indian community in a state where Indians comprised less than half a percentage of the total population.
This book has been receiving rave reviews and we can’t wait to meet Neema. We will have copies of the book on hand for your to buy so that she can sign them.
