All proceeds directly benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of West Virginia – a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, promoting early literacy, family engagement, school readiness, academic and lifetime success!

Each Race Registrations Sponsors a Child’s Annual Enrollment.

Reserve Your Commemorative T-Shirt!
Each registration includes a commemorative T-shirt with the 20th Anniversary banner. You do not have to participate in the race nor be present on race day to get your shirt. Pick up your shirt on race day OR Email imaginationlibrary@k12.wv.us to coordinate!

Awards and Prizes! Best Dressed Dolly Contest! Family Fun Event!

8am- Registration opens by the big red tent at the shelter near the starting line. Check in to receive bib assignment and T-shirt*
*T-shirt guaranteed with early registration by July 31st

8:30am- Vendors, Shaved Ice, Music, Playground

9:15am- Best Dressed Dolly Contest in Child, Adult, and Pet “Doggy Parton” Categories*
*Race registration required to participate

9:25am- Race Starts

Commemorative locally-made wooden embossed medal awarded to 1st Place and 1st Runner-Up male and female in each age group*
*Children in strollers are ineligible to win in child categories.
*All minors must be accompanied by an adult
