Downtown Huntington Art Walk
June 14 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Downtown Huntington Art Walk is a self-guided art tour welcoming our community and visitors to explore arts and culture in Downtown Huntington on the third Friday of each month from May to August, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and end their night with music and entertainment at 9th Street Live.
The Artwalk will span from Heritage Station to The Market with artists to be found in-between, hosted in local businesses or set up as street-vendors. There will be way finders and maps available to identify participating businesses and pop-up exhibitions, with safe footpaths to get you from one exciting experience to the next!
We will be showcasing various forms of art such as paintings, sculptures, murals, street art, and installations. Aimed at promoting creativity, cultural appreciation, and urban revitalization.
The event is organized by The Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District in collaboration with Marshall University School of Art & Design. Participants have the flexibility to explore the art installations and locations at their own pace using QR codes that provide information about the displays, interact with vendors, and sit in on demonstrations.
