HMA to Host Special Saturday KidsArt Event with Astronomy Theme
The Huntington Museum of Art will host a special Saturday KidsArt on November 16, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m. with the “Searching for Life in Space” theme. The event will take place in Studio 1 behind the Huntington Museum of Art. Admission is free. NASA Solar System Ambassador Ellie White, who is a Marshall University graduate student, will lead the Saturday KidsArt discussion on the search beyond Earth for alien life. The event will include fun activities for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
“This special Saturday KidsArt event is a fun way for students to learn more about our solar system,” said Cindy Dearborn, HMA Education Director.
Saturday KidsArt, which takes place from 1 to 3 p.m., is a free, fun-filled program that provides an afternoon of exploration, enrichment, and experimentation in the arts for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. This program is free thanks to the generous sponsorship from the Hoops Family Children’s Hospital. For more about events at the Huntington Museum of Art, visit www.hmoa.org or call (304) 529-2701. HMA is fully accessible.
