Huntington Fire Prevention Parade

The Huntington Fire Department is excited to announce its annual Fire Prevention Parade, set to take place at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2024.
This year’s event promises to be a spectacular display of community spirit and fire safety awareness that features colorful floats, marching bands and a large number of fire apparatuses.
The parade will kick off at 12th Street on 4th Avenue and will proceed west through downtown Huntington.
Event highlights include:
• Fire Apparatuses: The largest and most diverse gathering of fire trucks, ambulances and law enforcement vehicles in the Tri-State.
• Parade Floats: Vibrant and creative floats designed by local schools, community groups and businesses, each highlighting this year’s Fire Prevention Week theme.
• Marching Bands: Performances by local high school marching bands, adding rhythm and excitement to the parade route.
The Fire Prevention Parade is free and open to the public. Families, schools and local organizations are invited to participate and show their support for fire safety.
