Intro to Potter’s Wheel: 6 Week Community Workshop

Marshall University | School of Art & Design presents: Introduction to the Potter’s Wheel
A hands-on workshop series in throwing, trimming, and glazing. No prior experience in clay necessary. Participants will learn to throw and alter forms in clay, including bowls, drinking cups, and mugs.
Day & Time: Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Session: 6 weeks | May 20 – June 24
Location: Ceramics Studio, Art Warehouse; 201 21st St, Huntington, WV
Instructor: Courtney Chapman
Tuition & Materials: $225; includes 50 lbs of clay, all glazes, and apron. Shared community tools are available for use.
Enrollment: 16 seats available; a minimum of 4 enrolled participants is required for this course to run.
