Light Up The Lake 2021: The Barboursville Water Lantern Festival

Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase and decorate a water lantern.  How you decorate your lantern is all up to you. It can be celebrating an anniversary or friendship, supporting a charity, dedicated to a loved one, supporting our four-legged friends or your favorite football team. Whatever you have a passion for or is a light for you, share it! When the sun goes down everyone will launch their water lantern out into the lake.

What can you expect?   Starting at 6PM local business vendors will be set up to sell their goods, Local non-profits will be sharing their mission and we will have food vendors.  We will also have family friendly activities set up around the area.

This event is FREE to attend! Vendors/booths will have their set prices for goods and food.

The water lanterns are on pre-sale for $15 and will be available to purchase at the event for $20. Pre-sale lanterns can be purchased at the Barboursville CVB Visitors Center or LightUpTheLakeWV.com
