November Village Art Walk

FreeThe city of Barboursville becomes and art gallery.
From 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, head out to Barboursville where the city hosts its second Village Art Walk. The Village becomes an art gallery after hours for a free, self-guided walk through the businesses of the Central Avenue and Main Street area to see regional art, share refreshments and meet new people.
At 7:30 p.m. stop into the /Mak/ Art Gallery to enjoy the creative works of current and former Marshall University grad students, followed by a Q&A with the writers and creative writing professors about what the program offers. Readers include Rachel Hicks, Nicole Lawrence and Nathan Rucker. Featured grad students are Morgan Byrne, Jessica Hutchinson, Alex Simms and Bethany Woods.
The gallery will be open at 6 p.m. for the Art Walk and will feature paintings and sculptures by local artists.
