Spring Festival at Heritage Farm

Celebrate Spring in Appalachia at our annual Spring Festival! Along with everyone’s favorite offerings such as the wagon ride, Critter Corner, blacksmith shop, and museums, come check out additional activities like:
• The Heritage Museum, which is only open during festival days
• Cast iron cooking over an open fire
• Glass blowing demonstrations
• Saw and shingle mill demonstrations
• 2 performances of “Down in the Holler,” the show written for last year’s 50th anniversary: a fun 40-minute musical about Mr. & Mrs. Perry starting the Farm and all its aspects

This is also the first Saturday where you can experience new and refreshed parts of the Farm that will be available all season, like:
• Food and drinks by Twelvepole Trading Post available at Village Vittles and the Soda Shop
• The Discovery Zone activities
• The Artisan Center displays
