Summer Saturdays in Central City

Let’s celebrate the American spirit with a joyful morning of movement, music, and community connection, all free and family-friendly!
Start your day with Tai Chi at 9am, led by Carolyn, a calm and centering way to ease into your weekend.
Stick around for Yoga at 10am with Kyle, perfect for all experience levels.
Bonus! The first 10 participants in each class (Tai Chi & Yoga) will receive a free Cicada Books & Coffee voucher—a little treat for showing up early and moving with us!
At 11AM, bring the little ones for Dino Yoga and Kids Crafts with the Huntington Children’s Museum, a fun and imaginative activity station that blends movement and creativity.
Enjoy yard games in the park, stroll the neighborhood for local shopping, and admire the newly installed sculptures that make Central City so special.
At 12pm, gather in the park for live music by James Austin, a talented country artist whose heartfelt tunes and homegrown sound are perfect for a summertime celebration of resilience, freedom, and community pride.Bring your friends, bring the family, and bring your love for all things local! Let’s come together in the spirit of summer and what it means to be a community.
