Tri State Comic-Con

Most recent announcements include comic creators Jorge Corona and Morgan Beem and former WWE Wrestler Ryback. Also making an appearance is Star Wars and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles illustrator Cory Smith, along with many others.  “We have SO MANY talented creators who have had a part in creating stories for everything from Star Wars to Adventure Time to Planet of the Apes,” said James Maddox, co-founder of The Tricon. “The opportunity to bring that level of talent to the Huntington area never ceases to be a point of pride for Tricon.”  Though Tricon still remains a one-day show, the event has been recognized for gaining the participation of the best and most active creators in the comic community.  And while these attractions bring people through the door, the show’s other primary interests fall into encouraging cosplayers to show off their amazing costumes and collectors to come look at what the vendors have to offer.
