Chef Joe will lead a live cooking demo, guiding participants through simple, chef-level techniques for prepping, roasting, sautéing, and balancing turnips’ earthy, slightly sweet flavor in delicious, approachable ways—from caramelized and savory to light and fresh.

Chef Devyn, our Farmer Liaison and seasonal produce expert, will walk you through the world of turnips—from classic purple-top to Hakurei and baby turnips. You’ll learn how to select the freshest bunches, store them properly, and understand how their flavor and texture transform with different cooking methods.

Miss Leah, our Registered Dietitian, will share the powerful nutritional benefits of turnips, including how they support digestion, immune health, and overall wellness—and practical ways to incorporate them into balanced, family-friendly meals.
