Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony

FreeThe Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District, in cooperation with the Veterans Committee for Civic Improvement (VCCI), is honored to present the Annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Arch on Monday, November 11, 2019.
The Parade will line-up at 10:00 a.m. and originate at 14th Street West, travelling east on Memorial Boulevard to the Veterans Memorial Arch.
The Annual Ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will feature Key-Note Speaker J. Brian Nimmo, Director of Herschel W. Woody Williams Veterans Administration Medical Center.
In addition to the Keynote Speaker, the Ceremony will consist of musical interludes by the Fairland High School Marching Band, remarks from area Veterans and elected officials. Refreshments will be served by the American Legion Auxiliary, Huntington Unit 16.
Each year hundreds gather at the Veterans Memorial Arch to remember, honor and memorialize the many Veterans that have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and to thank all military personnel currently serving our country as well as their military families.
