Get ready to soak up the sunshine and celebrate the season with GHPRD at our May Day Family Play (try saying that three times fast)!
Taking place on Saturday, May 2 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Westmoreland Park, this free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to get outside, get active, and connect with your community.
In partnership with the First Saturday Market at The West Edge Factory, GHPRD is extending the fun across the street. This is the perfect the chance to enjoy both creative indoor experiences and outdoor recreation as the weather warms up!
This event serves as a mini preview of our larger Kids to Parks Day celebration happening later in May offering a taste of what’s to come while giving families an opportunity to jump into the fun early.
We’ll be bringing out our Recreation Wagon, packed with all the goodies you love, including:
· Free-play yard games for all ages
· Group activities like tag, races, and the always-popular parachute
· Hands-on crafts and sidewalk chalk for those feeling creative and inspired
Whether you’re looking to run, play, create, or simply enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the park, there’s something here for everyone.
