Mountain Games 2019

Come on down to Heritage Farms on September 21st, 2019 and “claim your heritage” by doing the things your great great grandparents did to survive the Mountains and hollers of West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio.

Mountain Games is a competitive festival that takes place every September in the heart of Central Appalachia at Heritage Farm. The tag line for the festival is Claim Your Heritage. The reason for the tag line – simple – that’s what you do at Mountain Games. The whole day is designed around doing the things you ancestors used to do just to survive. At Mountain Games, you get to do them and watch people do them just to have fun.

**Mountain Game sign up WITH Trail Run**
5K or 10K Trail Run will begin at 8:30AM

This registration fee covers the trail run, the Mountain Games, and admission to Heritage Farm Museum and Village activities.

**Mountain Game sign up WITHOUT Trail Run**
Games can be participated in between 10AM and 3PM.
There will be an Appalachian Obstacle Course, “Big Foot Hunting”, Rock Wall Climbing, Archery, Tomahawk Throwing, Dead Eye Shooting (with paintball rifle), and Pitch Fork Throwing! Participate in all six of these games to earn the title and trophy of Mountain Man (men ages 18+), Mountain Woman (women ages 18+), Mountain Teen (Youth aged 12-17), or Mountain Kid (Children 11 years of age and under). Early Registration prices available until August, 21st ($19 for Mountain Man/Woman and $15 for Mountain Teen/Kid). We also have opened registration up to teams! You will just register your members under their respective age bracket and add your team name on the questionnaire before checkout. After Aug. 21st, prices increase to $22 and $18.
